Pre-retirement Career
As a founding member of Trifecta Management Group, Jill Mather’s primary responsibilities include management of the Trifecta Learning Solutions consulting division, training, management development, product development rollout, design and implementation of training programs and support of operations.
Jill, a senior restaurant and entertainment industry training and development professional, brings innovative and creative learning programs to Trifecta Management Group. She was previously the GameWorks Vice President of Training and Development where she created the crewmember and management training and career development programs.
Before joining GameWorks, Jill gained valuable experience from her four years as Director of Training with Famous Restaurant Group, operators of multi-themed restaurants in the United States. She also created a more innovative and effective management training program for Tony Roma’s as Director of Management Training. Her effective communication and presentation skills were honed by serving as Executive Trainer for Decker Communications, renowned for video feedback training in communications for executives. Her operational background was obtained through various restaurant positions: Manager for Farrell’s Ice Cream Parlor Restaurants General Manager at Lawry’s Restaurant concepts; General Manager at Victoria Station Restaurants and Director of Operations with a Tony Roma’s franchise group.
Retirement Career
After retirement, Jill formed a 501c3 Volunteers Cleaning Communities in order to give back to her community and others. She had developed multiple programs in order to involve community members in their community to help the environment – Adopt 1 Street (an individual can adopt their block in order to keep it clean, report graffiti and illegal dumping), Litter Scavenger Hunt Program for schools (educational program on litter then activity that gets them to experience picking up litter as a scavenger hunt), Environmental Awareness Day (like a Street Faire, but based on environmental opportunities for community members), Litter Awareness Day (a friendly protest once a month where “Please Don’t Litter Our Street” signs are used down a major street on numerous street corners to get people etc. notice a message), Earth Day Event (Cleaning Ventura Blvd from Universal Studios to Valley Circle involving all the chambers, Neighborhood Council’s, and organizations to help make it happen) and more. This is her second, unpaid, lifetime career – to change the mindset of littering in America – starting with the San Fernando Valley.
Jill volunteers as a hike leader for the Santa Susanna Historical Park Association guiding school groups, community members and training other hike leaders to learn about the history of the Santa Susanna mountains. She also does volunteer work for Fix Nation, a non-profit organization that works to neuter, give medical help and return feral cats to their communities so that they are happy, healthy, save and to control the feral populations in Los Angeles county.
Jill graduated from California State University at Northridge with dual majors in Psychology and English, and holds numerous certifications directly related to the restaurant training field. She resides in Chatsworth, California. She is President of Diamondhead HOA, Secretary of Chatsworth Neighborhood Council, Member of Porter Ranch Chamber, Member of North Valley Regional Chamber, Member of Grandad Hills Chamber, Kiwanis member, Board member for Keep LA Beautiful member of Chatsworth Women’s Club and Instructor of Immersion Program with Notre Dame.
