Our mission is to connect people to City services and information, quickly and easily, via a communication channel of their choice. We provide general City information to citizens, local businesses, and visitors as well as perform Service Requests intake on behalf of City Departments.
The 311 Call Center provides various options to connect to a wide variety of non-emergency City services and general City information. Some of the most popular City services can be requested by calling 311 or (213) 473-3231, visiting https://myla311.lacity.org, or using the MyLA311 mobile app.
Bulky Item Pickup that you see on the street that is not being picked up, but rather people are leaving large items on the street assuming that they will be picked up by the city or people who want their unwanted items. Beds are always Bulk Item Pick Up!
Report when you see graffiti on walls, poles, sidewalks, signage, etc. The app will ask you if it can be painted over or has to be chemically removed to save the original artwork or signage
Report any encampment: RV's parked on the street; Tents on the sidewalk, parks or property; Unhoused person camping on a bus bench, business entrance, under trees, etc.
Take a picture - report the illegal dumping of construction materials, bags, homeless debris, shopping carts, nursery trimmings, etc.
Report the exact location of the animal so that the driver can easily find the dead animal. Do not bag the animal, but rather maybe leave something colorful nearby if it will be hard to locate.
